  • Keep your bed clean. Don’t leave stuff on it. Develop a habit of making your bed every day, not just before sleep but fix it after you wake up the next morning as well.
  • Avoid heavy meals in the evening. Eat something light that your stomach can digest by the time you fall asleep.
  • Keep a good gap between your sleep time and the last meal of the day. Doctors say there should be a minimum 3 hours gap between both activities.
  • If you are struggling with sleep, quit alcohol, caffeine drinks, smoking, etc. Instead, take a glass of warm milk or Chamomile tea 1 hour before sleep.
  • Fix your time to go to bed. Yes, you may struggle to fall asleep but try to follow the pattern. Also, leave bed on time in the morning. Don’t spend extra time in bed once you are awake.
  • Avoid untimely day naps. They may help you catch some good sleep but will disturb your normal sleep routine.
  • Avoid a lot of lights in your room. A dark room is the best for a fulfilling sleep.
  • Don’t listen to loud music, tv, etc before sleep.
